The Idol finale is right around the corner. A segment of the audience is happy seeing this torturous show come to an end. On the other hand, you have the people who really admired where the show was heading and are distressed over the finale coming in way before than expected.
This latest HBO series is created by the music world icon- The Weeknd, Reza Fahim, and Euphoria’s Sam Levinson. Sam Levinson directs the drama under the production company banners of The Reasonable Bunch, Manic Phase, Little Lamb, People Pleaser, Bron, A24 and HBO Entertainment. So far four episodes have been released with the fifth one marking the season finale. The upcoming episode is titled Jocelyn Forever.
The cast for the show features Lily-Rose Depp as Jocelyn and Abel Tesfaye aka The Weeknd as Tedros in the main roles. The show also includes a considerable support cast that includes Suzanna Son as Chloe, Troye Sivan as Xander, Jennie Ruby Jane as Dyanne, Moses Sumney as Izaak, Jane Adams as Nikki Katz, Dan Levy as Jocelyn’s publicist, Eli Roth as Andrew Finkelstein, Rachel Sennott as Leia, Hari Nef as Talia, Da’Vine Joy Randolph as Destiny, Hank Azaria as Chaim, Melanie Liburd as Jenna, Kate Lyn Sheil as Amy alongside Tunde Adebimpe, Elizabeth Berkley, Nico Hiraga, Anne Heche, Maya Eshet, Tyson Ritter, Liz Caribel Sierra, Karl Glusman, Sophie Mudd, Charly Summer, Mitch Modes and more.
The Idol Finale Predictions: What Will Happen Next?
The season finale will bring Jocelyn’s team to meet Tedros’ cult members in the house and, everything seems freaky. According to the preview trailer, Jocelyn will confront Tedros about how he navigated his way into her. She will ask him about his deal and, it looks like the relationship will go through a tumultuous phase.

The Idol finale preview trailer opens with Andrew Finkelstein calling Jocelyn to talk about his ‘concerns’ surrounding the tour. That paired up with Jocelyn saying to Tedros later in the trailer that she likes his singers suggests that Jocelyn will use the talent Tedros has cultivated for her own benefit. There is also a worried Chaim talking to Talia about Joss being in trouble hinting towards framing a narrative where Tedros is the culprit (the play on media is a satire truly in this sense).
Leia is also seen worried in the trailer. It could either mean that Leia has discovered something that is shocking (such as the torture of Xander) or a Tedros-related truth (hint to Jocelyn’s shocked face right after we see Leia calling for her in the preview trailer).
It all ends with Troye Sivan’s Xander saying, “I don’t think people are capable of hiding who they are”. This dialogue calls out to both Jocelyn as well as Tedros and what they are hiding. Jocelyn has a manipulative side that might come out in full form in the final episode which might be the reason Tedros is seen drinking and teary-eyed so much. Of course, with the episode title and Jocelyn’s tour being a focus of the final episode, one can predict that Joss will take this cake.
