Marvel Studios did not hold back when it came to revealing its upcoming MCU projects for the Disney Plus Day event, releasing the posters and first looks from ‘She Hulk’ to ‘Moon Knight’.’ ‘She Hulk’ is Marvel’s female version of Bruce Banner’s Hulk which we were introduced to first in 2003. The Hulk’s story has evolved over the years and, now it is finally time to pass on the torch to the next generation like the other heroes have done starting from Captain America to Black Widow.
The new teaser reveals Tatiana Maslany from ‘Orphan Black’ will be playing the titular role in the upcoming series. Initially, the comic books depicted She Hulk as nothing more than providing a sexier air to the macho, maleness of the original Hulk. But over the course of time, she has come to become a significant contributor to the comics.
Like science genius Bruce Banner overshadows the personality of Hulk for the normal world, it is Tatiana Maslany’s I’m Jennifer Walters that establishes her as a normal lawyer. In fact, the teaser very much starts with the same description before we come to see the bodily transformation into Jennifer’s mutated self to become the She Hulk.

As known, a blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce Banner- who also appears in the footage as a trainer or mentor to Jennifer, played by Mark Ruffalo – conferred a version of his gamma powers onto her. However, even though the new footage from Marvel shows the involvement of Bruce, it is unclear what path will be followed for Jennifer’s origin story. The footage, however, short did not disappoint when it flaunted the classic costume of white and purple worn by the She Hulk in comics

The teaser closes after Jennifer winks and warns viewers not to make her angry, saying: ‘You wouldn’t like me when I’m angry,” which is in fact a nod to the last time a Hulk was seen in action dating back to 1978.
No specific date is revealed yet, but Disney’s Original series ‘She Hulk’ is slated to premiere in 2022.
