Feria: The Darkest Light: Everything About Netflix’s Spanish Fantasy Thriller

Netflix has a lot of interesting releases this week, whether it’s comedy or thriller genre. One show that many are looking forward to is Feria: The Darkest Light. It’s a Spanish fantasy thriller show also titled ‘Feria: La luz más oscura’. Carlos Montero and Agustín Martínez are the creators of the show directed by Jorge Dorado and Carles Torrens.

The series was filmed in November 2020 at Minas de Riotinto. In February 2021, the team shot the remaining series at Zahara de la Sierra. In this article, we have mentioned the basic plot and star cast of the upcoming Netflix show.

Feria: The Darkest Light Synopsis

In their synopsis, Netflix mentions that it is a story of two sisters (Eva and Sofia) who come across a shocking truth about their parents. The girls learn that their parents performed some cult rituals that caused many deaths. The story is set in an Andalusian village in the mid-1990s. Will the girls pay the price for the sins their parents committed? We will find out when the show releases.

The official synopsis reads, “Two sisters must face a new reality — and supernatural elements — when it’s revealed their parents participated in a cult ritual ending in death.”

Feria: The Darkest Light Cast

The lead cast consists of Ana Tomeno as Eva, Carla Campra as Sofia. The show also features Marta Nieto, Patricia López, Isak Férriz, Ernest Villegas, Ángela Cremonte and Jorge Motos.

Feria: The Darkest Light Release Date, Number of Episodes and Trailer

The Spanish fantasy thriller will release on Netflix on January 28, 2022, at 1:30 pm IST, 3 am ET, and 12 am PT. The show will have a total of 8 episodes of 50 minutes approximately.
