Twitter Celebrates Charlie Cox’s Return With #SaveDaredevil Trend

Charlie Cox is coming back as Daredevil and it is no longer just another speculation because Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige has confirmed this news himself! The Netflix series star who served us with one of the best superhero series in Marvel Cinematic history is no longer going to be in the shadows. It was quite the mess when Netflix did not renew Daredevil after Season 3 but, the chances of that decision changing looks loud and bright.

Over the years, the campaign to bring back Cox to play the Man Without Fear has been going strong. Few fans have agreed that the Netflix series has run its course and it is time for the character to take a central stage in Marvel films or shows. Whereas few fans have argued that the series needs to go on. And, even though the return has not been announced with a concrete film or show or even a date, the fact that the usually covert Kevin Feige has finally spoken about it gives us a lot of hope.

During an interview with CinemaBlend, Feige stated: “If you were to see Daredevil in upcoming things, Charlie Cox, yes, would be the actor playing Daredevil. Where we see that how we see that, when we see that, remains to be seen.” This particular announcement has sent Twitter in a celebratory mode as fans from all over the world make the #SaveDaredevil trend rise up again.

The future of this character is yet undecided. But given the last Hawkeye episode on Disney+ Hotstar where we were just introduced to the character of Echo, it is likely that Cox’s character can possibly make its return through the already scheduled Marvel shows.

Nonetheless, the official confirmation is enough reasons to keep the trend going so MCU brings back Cox soon. Meanwhile, you can watch the first three seasons of the character’s Netflix series, here.
