Epik High is gearing up for the upcoming release of their new single, and harking its arrival, they’ve released a new Screen Time feat Hoshi teaser to grant us another look at the music video releasing this month. Having already labelled the forthcoming video “amazing” in a previous post teasing their track’s premiere, the South Korean hip-hop trio will be joining forces with the SEVENTEEN member for the first time ever.
Deemed the performance unit’s leader in the K-pop group, Hoshi of SEVENTEEN is seen as one of the major players in the video releasing in November. The previously released even shorter teaser video merely granted us a brief glimpse at him, all suited up, through his mirror reflection. The new teaser, released on October 30 at 6PM KST, however, offers a better look at the idol as the first scene itself catches him teary-eyed with what looks like a minor bruise on his nose bridge, hinting at him having been in an accident, or him being at the centre of some sort of tragic unfolding.

Switching tone and visual themes, the video them jumps forward to a whole new scenario with Hoshi almost in a trance-like state, swaying and dancing about melancholically amongst a group of people.
The musical single, Epik High Screen Time, is set to release on November 1, 2023, at 6 PM KST, and it will mark the group’s second release of 2023 following Strawberry, the trio’s overall third EP that came out in February 2023. This EP, also deemed their first global album, featured collaborations with Hwasa of MAMAMOO and Jackson Wang of GOT7.
Epik High and Hoshi’s separate discographies are streaming on Spotify. The ’96 born SEVENTEEN member has also come up as a soloist previously by working on tracks like Tiger feat Tiger JK, Power and his official mixtape Spider. As for his latest commitments, he, along with his group members recently released their 11th mini album SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN, led by the single God of Music.
The hip-hop trio is also holding their 20th anniversary concerts in Seoul. The Epik High Seoul concert series will be a two-day-event that is to be held on December 16 and 17 at the Olympic Park Handball Stadium. All three members of the group have already made big promises for the next year too. Having been active on the musical front for so long, even 20 years down the lane, the trio has no plans of slowing things down.
