If an out-of-the-blue surprise live with Woozi and Taeyong hadn’t already got us fanning ourselves and considering every other what-if situation after the unprecedented twist revealed itself on the latter NCT member’s Instagram live video, here comes another blessing in the treat box for all CARAT-ZENs (fans of SEVENTEEN and NCT). On October 27, 2023, only days after the said live, the NCT leader has managed to pull the introverted maestro producer of SEVENTEEN out of the studio for a dance challenge.
Released as two reels on the SEVENTEEN Instagram page, these videos catch the singers dancing their hearts out to the PLEDIS Entertainment group’s latest title track God of Music. SEVENTEEN Woozi’s inner goofy self couldn’t stay hidden for these dance challeneges as he seems to be openly enjoying himself in the company of NCT Taeyong.

This multiverse of K-pop madness has hit us twice in the same week, and that too when the fans hadn’t even recovered from the first unexpected twist. Furthermore, this may not be the last we see of this SEVENTEEN and NCT duo. An even greater possibility has arisen out of the God of Music challenge video now out on Instagram.
With Taeyong having come forward for support Woozi for his group’s brand new comeback, the SEVENTEEN producer will also have to return the favour soon enough, especially since Taeyong has already urged him to participate in the Fact Check dance challenge with him (EDIT: and Woozi had delivered his end of the promise too).
Their friendship essentially birthed out of their shared passion for music and composing, and we hope this soon blossoms into a full-fledged collaboration in the music studio too. And what it looks like from Taeyong’s recent live, they may as well be working on some new music together as we speak since the duo was also spotted with South Korean music producer SQUAR in the NCT leader’s studio, or so as it seems.
While God of Music is the titular track of SEVENTEEN’s 11th mini album SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN that released on October 23, Fact Check marks NCT 127’s latest comeback as of October 6. This isn’t the first, nor will it be the last SEVENTEEN-NCT friendship to emerge out of nowhere. Earlier this year, SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan and NCT’s Haechan also opened up about their friendship, and it’s already a known fact that the Chinese members of both groups are also on good terms with each other.
