Ponniyin Selvan is Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s latest movie where she looks gorgeous as ever. The actress has always been the symbol of everlasting beauty and grace in Bollywood. Aishwarya wore a stunning white and gold-lined salwar kameez for the promotion of Ponniyin Selvan in Mumbai. She posted two images one caption thanking her fans for all the blessings and heartfelt wishes. She has been giving her fans updates on the film as well her character’s first looks. Her character Nandini in the film has a regal look to her as she dorns a beautiful orange Kanjivaram saree with intricately detailed jewels. Her makeup is minimal, with her hair gorgeously curled which really helps elevate her natural beauty.

Over the years, she has given us many iconic desi looks from movies like Jodha Akbar where she dorns chunky intricate jewellery with simple red and green lehengas, in Devdas she wears colourful Bengali saris with a big red bindi and gold jewellery or even her simple white kurtas in Mohabbatein. These looks have inspired generations and are still used as inspiration for new looks to this day.
Her Instagram post shows her smiling at the camera as she dorns a stunning white salwar with gold lining and pearl beading on the sleeves. The dupatta is transparent with gold borders and white detailing of flowers. She has paired her salwar with a gold ring and gold painted nails and a heavy gold and pearl earring.
Her makeup is simple just eyeliner, kajal and nude lipstick with a red bindi that helps her outfit take centre stage. Her brownish-red hair has been straightened to make the entire outfit look more put together.
