Don’t Come Home Ending Explained
The series starts with Varee running away with her daughter Min in the middle of the night. It is clear that she is being abused and we later find out that her husband is abusive to her. The two of them, after stopping at a gas station and convenience store, reach Varee’s childhood home at the Jarukanant house. Once there, odd things start to happen that scare young Min while Varee sweeps them under the rug as a child’s overactive imagination. However, soon, after many such incidents, she finds Min disappeared one night from her bedroom seemingly without a trace.
She enlists the help of a police officer Fah, who is heavily pregnant with her superior’s child in a messy relationship. While Fah is going through her own turmoil, she cannot help but take Varee’s claims seriously. It seems like there’s something amiss in her statements after she goes through CCTV footage of all the places that Varee had visited during their drive to the house previously and, at first, thinks that she is imagining her daughter due to some mental health crisis. However, upon further inspection, Fah finds out that Varee does indeed have a daughter who looks exactly like her when she was a child.
Confused and unsure of what is happening, Fah continues to investigate but in the midst of it all, Varee, too, disappears, leaving Fah to scramble to find a solution.

What was the secret at the Jarukanant house?
In a flashback, we see Varee’s mother Panida as someone who is highly intelligent and intellectual and she works at a factory developing cutting-edge technology. One such technology turns out to be a time travel machine that she stumbles upon by chance. After losing her daughter and husband in a freak accident, she is overcome with guilt for ignoring them till their last moments and is about to take her own life when she finds the time warp under her beneath the bridge and drops her shoe in, remembering the shoe that had suddenly emerged from a similar warp in the factory.
Confident that she will be able to use it to get back the time she had lost with her daughter, she decides to tweak the machine in her own house to take her back in time. Unfortunately, the machine doesn’t work according to plan and brings Min back to the past from the future. Confused and shocked at first, she figures out that this might just be a second chance that she has been given and “adopts” Min.
Who is Varee?
As it turns out, Min is Varee in the future. After Min is transported to the past thanks to the machine, Panida raises her as her own until the adult Varee from the future is also transported back. Panida is confused and afraid and refuses to give Min back or trust adult Varee. In the present, Fah finds out that a “mysterious stranger woman” was murdered in the house in 1992. That turns out to be adult Varee. Thus, the Varee that we see in the future is actually Min.

Are Varee and Min able to reunite?
Varee and Min are able to reunite for only a fraction of a minute at the house in the past, but not before Panida drags her out. Adult Varee tries to talk to her mother and convince her that she is her daughter and that Min is her granddaughter but in vain. In the end, Panida pushes Varee over the railing and kills her. Eventually, Panida brings Min up as Varee and comes to realise the truth of what she had done years ago and she begs her to not come home, realising what is about to happen to her daughter soon.

She realises that the unknown woman who died in 1992, present Varee and Min are all the same people and realises that there is nothing that she can do to stop this tragedy from happening. Frustrated and helpless she attacks Varee’s husband and tells everyone off for trying to control everyone around them and eventually leaves the precinct after having her son, blocking Danai in the process as well.
