The Divorce Insurance Episode 3 Recap
The episode opens with Han-deul having a nightmare and she wakes up from her sleep in shocked amusement. Meanwhile, Ki-jun and Jeon-man also wake up to the sound of the alarm and are shocked to find them sleeping on the same bed. After some pandemonium, the four of them go back to work full of confidence and explain their countermeasures to Dae-bok. They show all the contracts to Na-rae and explain why they have put all of the applications on hold for the time being. They also put forth the idea of using AI to make their work a bit easier.
With the go-ahead from Na-rae, Ah-young and Han-deul talk about the previous night and how the former heard Ki-jun talking to someone lovingly on the phone, inferring that it must be a woman. Meanwhile, the men have pizza as Ki-jun downloads an ovulation app! Either way, they eventually go along with the AI underwriter and test out the product, which bring out different feelings for the different participants. However, they do get a large number of prospective clients to take the test as well, which leave their higher ups gobsmacked. However, there’s some politics that is taking place up above that is about to make things more complicated.
That night, Ki-jun and Han-deul run into each other while taking out the trash and have a nice chat on the swings. He opens up about his anxiety surrounding everything that they are doing and whether they are drumming up trouble for otherwise happy couples. Han-deul comforts him, which reminds him of Jin-ju. Right then it starts to rain and the two of them quickly take cover and share a calm moment together.
The next morning, they run into each other again as they go to their client’s wedding together. Their vibes match perfectly and in the warm glow of the beautiful sunny weather, they exude a warm energy. At the ceremony, things go awry very quickly as the bride and groom are nowhere to be found. They eventually learn that they have already gotten married and are going off on their honeymoon after learning about the divorce insurance that was taken behind their backs. The outcome is rather hilarious and a little unhinged, but overall quite successful. Unfortunately, Ki-jun and Han-deul are forced to take a ride on the limo that no one will require at this point!
After making a quick exit from the limo after it gets stuck, Ki-jun goes to meet someone, leaving Han-deul perplexed on the road. He rushes to meet Uh-hyeong and asks him to take out a policy from him and the latter gives him a knowing look.
The Divorce Insurance Episode 3 Review
This week’s episodes go off with a bang as we are left to laugh at some sequences while others are more romantic. With the romance being pushed in full force between Han-deul and Ki-jun, I am finding it rather shocking how much of the eyesore the production quality is! The series looks terrible and the audio is equally bad. It cheapens the overall feel of the series. On the other hand, the utter lack of logic in the series is getting to me, but i guess I can ignore it (for now) if I think that it’s a quirky show. Let’s just hope the quirky entertainment keeps coming!
