Stylish Kdramas That Will Give You Major Fashion Goals
The Fabulous
Streaming on: Netflix
Set in the heart of Seoul’s fashion industry, the 2022 rom-com drama series stars Choi Min-ho and Chae Soo-bin, Lee Sang-woon and Park Hee-jung. Also presented as a workplace drama series, the K-drama leads with the stories of four best friends, all trying to make it big in their respective professional fields that are one way or another interlinked to the other.
Sang-woon plays Joseph, an underrated fashion designer who eventually joins the top ranks of the industry due to his charming sensibility of the field. On the other hand, Park Hee-jung portrays Ye Seon-ho, a top supermodel who later becomes an inspiring figure for up and coming rookie models. Through these two characters, the show gives us major fashion goals while showcasing several fashion show gigs they’re involved in that make way for endless ramp walks and all the glam associated with the profession.
Record of Youth
Streaming on: Netflix
Again set on the meeting borders of the entertainment and fashion industries, Record of Youth stars Park Bo-gum, Park So-dam and Byeon Woo-seok and brings us the lives of three young adults initially situated in the contemporary fashion biz. Bo-gum plays Sa Hye-jun, a model emerging from a middle class family, who aspires to achieve his dreams as a top actor. So-dam, on the other hand, is Ahn Jeong-ha, a makeup artist and Woo-seok is Won Hae-hyo, Hye-jun’s best friend and yet another model turned actor.
As the both leading men in the series chart the path of becoming actors after their modelling careers, the show follows lots of ramp walks and stylish photoshoots that go along with both the creative fields.
Hotel Del Luna
Streaming on: Netflix, Viki
In this 2019 fantasy drama, Lee Ji-eun or IU takes the lead as the owner of the supernatural Hotel del Luna. As Jang Man-wol, this isn’t her choice of gig, rather she’s been condemned here due to the sin she committed 1300 years ago. Her ways of affluent life are not your ordinary cup of tea. While the series also takes on the shape of a romantic comedy, Man-wol’s extravagant lifestyle is one of the most striking highlights of the show, especially with her love for luxurious outfits put on display every episode.
Itaewon Class
Streaming on: Netflix
Park Seo-joon, Kim Da-mi, and Kwon Nara’s drama based on a webtoon is more about class divide and one’s desire to climb up the social ladder (with more personal agendas rolled in together), especially with Seo-joon’s Sae-royi wanting to rise high with his new restaurant business despite not knowing much about it. However, once he meets Da-mi’s Jo Yi-seo, he’s in for good luck as she helps him find his way with the power of social media blogging, and it’s through her that we find the sophisticated fashionable street-style wardrobe of our dreams.
It’s Okay to Not Be Okay
Streaming on: Netflix
As far as fashion in Kdramas is concerned, Seo Yea-ji as Ko Moon-young blessed us with some major fashion tips in It’s Okay to Not Be Okay. While the 2020 Korean TV drama was a lot more about walking towards emotionally healing from one’s past traumas and scars, Moon-young never missed a beat in showing off some of the best designer pieces. Her wardrobe is truly a fashion enthusiast’s dream considering it includes pieces from fashion houses like Miu Miu, Dolce and Gabana, Alexander McQueen, Kenzo and more.
One Dollar Lawyer
Streaming on: Disney+ Hotstar
While this may come across as a surprising entry in a list of Korean dramas about fashion, once you take a good look at Namkoong Min and Kim Ji-eun ruling the legal scene in style, you’ll understand my reasoning for the same. Chic and in-vogue outfits can be carried off flawlessly once you get the hang of them. However, slaying every single day in your professional and formal office fits is not an easy task.
The wardrobes of Min’s One Dollar Lawyer and Ji-eun’s Baek Ma-ri need to be studied closely, because how they were serving looks in each episode of the season with their mere pant suit combination sets is beyond me, and I can’t have enough of them. Moreover, you can count on Baek Ma-ri to spice up the “attorney at law” space with her brilliant flamboyant options. She really is a lotus surrounded by dirty water.

Vincenzo has great fashion for both the male and female leads. I think there one called Law Cafe where the people buy a cup of coffee for a consultation. They also had eye catching wardrobes.
I agree with you on that Vincenzo
I haven’t watched Law Cafe but I’ll try to watch the film
