Tamil action star Dhanush is back with another banger, and the Sir trailer is here to prove exactly that. There is a college, and students are piling in, but what if there are problems in the education system deep-seated that cause problems for everybody in it? Written and directed by Venky Atluri, this movie will star Dhanush, Samyuktha, Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Samuthirakani, Thotapalli Madhu, Narra Srinivas, Pammi Sai, Hyper Aadhi, Shara, Aadukalam Naren, Ilavarasu, Motta Rajendran, Hareesh Peradi and Praveena, alongside other cast members.
Also titled Vaathi, the film shows the male protagonist, played by Dhanush as a junior lecturer before he tries to make a move in understanding what is truly happening behind the scenes in this college. He is seen arriving from somewhere far away, making a long journey to come to this college. Arriving with all the pomp, prosperity and drums welcoming him, his gaze shifts to someone else. It is at this point he meets Samyuktha’s character, and the two immediately hit it off with each other.

She is revealed to be a biology lecturer and is introduced personally by the man welcoming him into the college. However, if he thought he was going to win her over with some small gestures, it wasn’t going to happen. However, Dhanush’s character seems to be hell-bent on making a good impression. The next few seconds of the trailer are spent showing how the two become really close as time goes by.
But obviously, things cannot go well for the characters who have just begun to start bonding. Samyuktha’s character has a father who has made an appearance in the trailer, already being established as an opposing figure for Dhanush. There is some banter about his education and that is essentially the dynamic continuing through the video.

However, this is not an isolated event, there is something bigger happening in the area, and the protagonist must figure out what it is actually. He is not alone. Samyuktha’s character is ready to provide him with all the motivational support he requires in making sure the right side wins.
People with lower incomes have got their voices heard now, and their saviour is coming to help them. There are protests and fights with the policemen brewing while schools and small learning centres receive the capitalistic treatment. Destroyed without a trace, the protagonist is left fighting alone for the justice he thinks the people of this village deserve.
