On August 1, 2022, the Youtube channel BANGTANTV released the 2022 special episode teaser of the group’s variety show Run BTS! The group announced the return of this beloved show that fans have been following since 2015.
In the video, after the group’s greeting, the leader RM aka Kim Namjoon makes the announcement that Run BTS! is back after being on break for 10 months. Jin then continues saying that they did some recharging and have brought back more fun this time on the show.
Jungkook then takes over and announces that the new season will premiere on August 16, 2022, and fans can watch it on Weverse, Vlive and Youtube. V then ends the announcement with the iconic shout of the variety show Run! BTS!

The members start singing Run BTS from their latest album Proof while discussing how this could be the new opening song of the season. The show is set to broadcast at 9 PM (KST) on Weverse and Vlive, and at 11 PM (KST) on Youtube.

Run BTS! is the group’s own show which premiered on August 1, 2015. The group has been active with this show since and has garnered a huge audience on this show. This show also has a hand in the increasing popularity of the band as many fans agree that this show got them into the fandom.
The show has the BTS members taking part in various activities, games, challenges, and so on. The members are without a script and show their real, normal and fun-loving side on this show. The announcement of its return has already got fans going crazy on social media.
