Pretty Little Liars Original Sin: Will There Be a Second Season for the HBO Show?

Pretty Little Liars Original Sin Season 2 looks like an inevitable road the show is going to have to take but, can the history associated with the reboots and spin-offs of Pretty Little Liars let this rather brilliant piece of slasher mystery thrive? Well, let’s find out!

Developed by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Lindsay Calhoon Bring (the creator of Riverdale and The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Pretty Little Liars Original Sin is produced by Muckle Man Productions, Alloy Entertainment and Warner Bros. The fourth instalment and a reboot in the Pretty Little Liars franchise based on Sara Shepard’s novel series of the same name, the show stars an ensemble cast. It features Chandler Kinney as Tabby Hayworth, Maia Reficco as Noa Olivar, Bailee Madison as Imogen Adams, Zaria as Faran Bryant, Malia Pyles as Mouse Honrada, Alex Aiono as Shawn, Mallory Bechtel as twins Karen & Kelly Beasley and, Eric Johnson as Sheriff Beasley.

Will There Be Pretty Little Liars Original Sin Season 2?

The first season of the show ended in a way where you can go on to formulate theories about a Pretty Little Liars Original Sin Season 2 or you can end it as a stand-alone limited series, although no announcement has been made about either. The final moments of the last episode revealed about Archie, Angela Waters’ deformed and disturbed brother, going out to seek the ultimate revenge on the assaulters of the town. First, we see him kill Sheriff Beasley, followed by Chip, who is out on bail for the Christman holiday as he awaits his trial for assaulting Imogen and Tabby.

Pretty Little Liars Original Sin Season 2 can take the form to show if Archie will continue to threaten the girls or become a protective figure. As we know from the original, the ‘A’ keeps changing from season to season in the show and the reboot can very well take the same route and a new mystery figure can announce itself next season when the girls feel everything is fine.

Given this season focused on the mothers’ sins and how the daughters had to pay for it, Pretty Little Liars Season 2 can focus on the fathers and how their crimes will catch up with their daughters. We don’t really see much of the fathers this season and it might be to keep the plot of the upcoming season under wraps.
