My Policeman Premiere at Toronto Film Festival Pics: Harry Styles and Cast are All Smiles

My Policeman has premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and the cast is looking fabulous on the red carpet that is filled with fans of the stars. Directed by Michael Grandage, the film stars Harry Styles, Emma Corrin, David Dawson, Linus Roache, Gina McKee and Ruper Everett.

The Movie is a beautifully crafted story of forbidden love and changing social conventions, My Policeman follows three young people—policeman Tom (Harry Styles), teacher Marion (Emma Corrin), and museum curator Patrick (David Dawson)—as they embark on an emotional journey in 1950s Britain.

Flashing forward to the 1990s, Tom (Linus Roache), Marion (Gina McKee), and Patrick (Rupert Everett) are still reeling with longing and regret, but now they have one last chance to repair the damage of the past. Based on the book by Bethan Roberts, director Michael Grandage carves a visually transporting, heart-stopping portrait of three people caught up in the shifting tides of history, liberty, and forgiveness.

During the movie’s premiere at Toronto International Film Festival, Harry Styles is seen sporting a dark green double-breasted suit with light green trousers with a matching green handbag. On the other hand, Emma Corin wowed the audience in her black skintight catsuit with a black cap, looking so very different from her Princess Diana character in The Crown.

The premiere was very well received and Styles even managed to bag his first acting award at the festival’s Tribute Awards. Fans of the singer made sure to show their support for the star. The filmmakers and cast members then made a quick stop for a short Q&A session after the screening of the movie.

Styles later credited his co-stars Corrin and Dawson for the off-set relationship that they shared which allowed trust between themselves, particularly in the film’s most intimate scenes.

My Policeman will hit theatres on October 21 after which it will be available for online streaming on November 4 on Prime Videos.
