The upcoming new Mexican comedy movie will be released on Netflix this week. It’s a movie about a man who travels with his wife and kids to his hometown after his grandfather dies, where chaos ensues with his relatives over the inheritance. The movie stars Damián Alcázar, Alfonso Herrera, and Ana de la Reguera as the main character and is directed by Luis Estrada.

IN HER HANDSNovember 16

In Her Hands tells the story of Zarifa Ghafari, one of Afghanistan’s first female mayors and the youngest person, at 26, to hold the position. The film documents her fight to survive and narrowly escape against the backdrop of her nation’s accelerated unravelling. The movie stars Zarifa Ghafari and is directed by Tamana Ayazi and Marcel Mettelsiefen. The movie will be premiering on Netflix.

Off Track (UR SPÅR) – November 16

The Swedish comedy film is about a mid-age hipster in Stockholm who is a training freak and trains for the 90 km ski race Vasaloppet. His sister is the opposite, no job, and drinks but has a daughter. Suddenly secrets reveal and promises are made. The movie stars Leif Andrée, Tuva Børgedotter Larsen and Kelly Flogell as the lead characters and is directed by Mårten Klingberg. The movie will be premiering on Netflix.

Christmas With YouNovember 17

The story about a pop star who is seeking inspiration for a hit holiday song grants a young fan’s Christmas wish to meet her only to find out that she has a second chance at love again. The movie stars Aimee Garcia, Freddie Prinze Jr., and Deja Monique Cruz and is directed by Gabriela Tagliavini. The film is releasing on Netflix this Thursday.

A Christmas Story ChristmasNovember 17

The movie follows the now-adult Ralphie as he returns to the house on Cleveland Street to give his kids a magical Christmas like the one he had as a child, reconnecting with childhood friends, and reconciling the passing of his Old Man. It is directed by Clay Kaytis and stars Peter Billingsley, Zack Ward, and Erinn Hayes as the main characters. The movie set out to release on HBO Max.

Drishyam 2: November 18

The much-awaited sequel of the critically acclaimed Drishyam is finally released this week. 7 years after the case related to Vijay Salgaonkar and his family was closed, a series of unexpected events bring a truth to light that threatens to change everything for the Salgaonkars. Can Vijay save his family this time? Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the movie stars Ajay Devgan, Tabu, and Akshay Khanna along with Sriya Saran. The movie will have a theatre release all over India.

SlumberlandNovember 18

A story about an orphan joined by a larger-than-life outlaw who goes through a daring journey in a land of dreams to find a precious pearl that will grant her greatest wish. The movie stars Jason Momoa, Marlow Barkley, and Chris O’Dowd in the lead and is directed by Francis Lawrence. The movie will be premiering on Netflix.

Mister Mummy- November 18

The story surrounds a couple with opposing choices when it comes to children but destiny has something else planned for the childhood sweethearts. Starring Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia D’Souza and Mahesh Manjrekhar, the movie is directed by Shaad Ali. The film is set to have a theatre release all over the country.

She said- November 18

A story that helped launch the #MeToo movement and shattered decades of silence around the subject of sexual assault in Hollywood, the movie centres around Megan Twohey and Jodi Kantor, two New York Times reporters who break one of the most important stories in a generation. Starring Zoe Kazan, Carey Mulligan, and Patricia Clarkson as the lead characters and directed by Maria Schrader, the movie will have a theatrical release.

The People We Hate At The Wedding- November 18

Starring Kristen Bell, Allison Janney, Ben Platt and Cynthia Addai-Robinson the movie is a raunchy comedy about dysfunctional American siblings Alice and Paul along with their ever-optimistic mom, are invited to the British wedding of their estranged half-sister Eloise as a chance for them to reconnect as – more or less – adults, and learn to love each other like they once did. The movie is set to release on Amazon Prime.

Violence Action- November 18

A lot of fans are waiting for the live-action adaptation of the manga with the same name. It is a story about a young girl living a double life as an assassin. The movie stars Kanna Hashimoto, Fumika Baba and Shunsuke Daito in the lead and is directed by Toichiro Ruto. The movie will be out on Netflix this Friday.

Wonder Woman- November 18

Wonder Woman is surrounding the tale of pregnant women who meet at a prenatal class and stumble on far more than they expect. The movie is directed by Anjali Menon and stars Nadiya Moidu, Nithya Menen, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Padmapriya, Sayanora Phillip, Archana Padmini And Amruta Subhash. The movie is set out to release on Sony Liv.
