It’s time to gear up for the upcoming Kpop comebacks in May 2023! With show-stopping music releases of April now becoming part of our music playlist playing on a loop, we’re excited to head into another month of musical celebrations. So, are the upcoming month’s K-pop album or singles worth the wait? That’s what we’re here to decipher!
Moving on to new things shortly accompanies applauding the gems that stood by our side in April. Breaking records, SEVENTEEN’s much-anticipated mini album FML and BTS Suga’s debut solo album D-Day led the music scene. Moreover, NCT’s sub-unit DOJAEJUNG debuted its first blissful and aromatic mix Perfume. Girl groups like IVE, Apink, STAYC and others showered the general public with their stunning tracks.
Soloists followed close with their intriguing concepts as NCT’s Mark dropped his second digital single, Golden Hour, while forever capturing in memory his hilarious interaction with celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsey. Even more soloists like Kim Wooseok, Park Jihoon, Lee Chaeyeon, Taeyang, WOODZ and others left their mark, while ONEWE’s GIUK finally brought out his first solo project.
The upcoming month is filled with similar joyful and melodious blasts, with some Japanese albums also being put out by our beloved K-pop artists. Usually, all these comebacks are slated for 6 PM KST, i.e. 2:30 PM IST, so we can expect most of these releases to come out at that time unless mentioned otherwise.
