Minnie is a Thai singer, songwriter, producer and actress under CUBE Entertainment and has made her solo debut with the album HER today. She is part of the popular South Korean girl group (G)I-DLE which consists of five members namely- Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua and debuted on May 2, 2018. As the singer begins her solo singing career today, fans are already loving her new song and album which shows off her charisma to all.

I have to start with the beautiful way in which Minnie shows off two very different characters with such perfection in the music video. Not only is she playing two characters who are on the two extremes of the spectrum, but also gives us a glimpse of a character who stands in the middle. She’s doing it all and the crazy sides we see of her in this video are just so worth watching this music video for.
The song itself is something that is beautifully written, and knowing that she is involved in writing the lyrics and composing the song only leaves you in awe of her talent. She truly proves herself in different aspects through this one video and I can’t help but be stunned by this talented idol. And then there are her vocals that fit so perfectly with the overall feel of the song.
The song is powerful and comes with beats that show this power while making sure that it doesn’t go overboard. It is still soft in many places which makes it more intriguing for the listeners. The beats will make you want to move and keep you intrigued, but not to the extent that you would tire yourself out. She smoothly has you entering a trap and leaves you happy as the song plays on a loop.
Meanwhile, her performance in the music video is something that I have truly enjoyed. Her expressions, attitude, the softness of her bubbly character, and the eyes rolling here and there; everything carried some kind of a charm that makes you speechless. It’s almost hard to believe that it’s one person playing all these characters because of how smoothly everything is playing out in this video.
She truly shines out in this video in so many ways that there is hardly anything negative to say about the song altogether. Plus, the cinematography is so smooth and beautiful that I have been unable to move my eyes away from this song. Overall, this song is beautiful, fun, sassy, and filled with so much energy that I am truly captivated by the singer.
