It is not highly unlikely to wonder about Class of 09 Season 2. In fact, the kind of themes the show has been trying to address throughout its running only pushes us more towards believing that there is more, if not a renewal but, an extension of this show that would also work on similar themes.
The series is created by Tom Rob Smith. This FX on Hulu show is produced by FX Productions and Color Force by executive producers Tom Rob Smith, Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson and Nellie Reed. There are eight episodes in this series, each with a runtime of 40-50 minutes.
The cast of Class of 09 stars Brian Tyree Henry as Tayo Miller, Kate Mara as Ashley Poet, Raúl Castillo as Amos, Jake McDorman as Murphy, Sepideh Moafi as Hour, Brian J Smith as Lennix, Jon Jon Briones as Gabriel, Brooke Smith as Drew, Rosalind Eleazar as Vivienne, Briar Boggs as Henry Lee and Mark Pellegrino as Mark Tupirik.

The finale of Class of 09 showed that Tayo, Poet, Hour and Lennix were successful in making sure the AI is deemed unfit and is no longer used. Following that we also saw what Poet’s future looks like- she is an instructor at Quantico! She is seen teaching the new recruits about the importance of human judgement and how machines will never be able to compete.

Looking at how the show has ended, a second season seems unnecessary. As of now, there has been no formal announcement in regards to Class of 09 Season 2. The show was welcomed very strongly.
However, as it progressed, the viewers found it boring- the timeline jumps being an important factor in making the show chaotic in a fashion that was not required. Thus, it seems highly unlikely that we will be getting a second season of this show. Additionally, this is a miniseries, which eliminates the idea of the show having another season.
