Connect: All to Know About the Korean Crime Thriller Series

Disney+ is bringing a new South Korean crime thriller Connect (커넥트) which brings the mysterious and horrifying story of an illegal organ trafficking victim who is brought face to face with a serial killer. This webtoon adaptation will bring the story of a young man of a new race who has become the victim of organ hunters and gets the ability to see what the person using his eye sees.

With some intriguing character posters which show the deadly looks of the lead actors, the trailer is no less exciting as we are introduced to what the story is to bring to us. With the rise of new talents often seen as freaks in the world, the race is introduced in the trailer.

We then see a young man belonging to this race whose eye was stolen by organ hunters which then gets him connected to the person who received his eye. Now, he gets the ability to see what the other person sees, but to his shock, the man with his eye is a murderer.

And not just any murderer, but someone who is a serial killer terrorizing the public recently with his unique way of displaying his victims. Now, the young man is out on a journey to get his eye back while facing off with a killer who can is not easy to stop.

The synopsis of the show reads- “The mysterious story of a man who has been deprived of a part of his body by organ hunters and becomes ‘connected’ with a person who has received an organ transplant.”

Based on a webtoon of the same name, the series depicts a mysterious story that occurs when a man who has been deprived of a part of his body by organ hunters, connects with a person who has received an organ transplant.

Connect Cast

Directed by Miike Takashi, the miniseries stars Jung Hae-in, Go Kyung-pyo, Kim Hye-joon, Jung Dong-hoon, Jang Gwang, and Kim Roe-ha, alongside other cast members.
