Avatar The Way of Water Trailer marks the return of James Cameron’s Magnum Opus to the big screen after more than a decade. The much-awaited official trailer features our protagonist Jake Sully in the avatar form, along with his family and the tribes of the Pandora region. Moreover, the two-minute and twenty-eight-second clip is filled with magnificent CGI and VFX, heightened only by the core emotional element.
Produced by 20th Century Studios, Avatar 2 will mark the return of cast members Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Stephen Lang, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, Dileep Rao, CCH Pounder, and Matt Gerald in their original roles from the 2009 film. Sigourney Weaver will also return for this film but, in a different role.
There’s also an addition to the existing cast which includes Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis, Edie Falco, Brendan Cowell, Michelle Yeoh, Jemaine Clement, Oona Chaplin, Vin Diesel, and CJ Jones in various roles.
The description for the film reads: “Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, Avatar The Way of Water begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.”

In the trailer, we go back to Pandora and see Jake Sully and his daughter having a bonding moment, where she tells him that she can feel her. On asking what, she says, ‘the heartbeat’. We are not sure what it refers to but could it be something underwater? An un-treaded territory.
We also get to see that they have to leave their home due to the visible destruction, which will force them to move to places where they are not exactly welcomed. As one of the members of another tribe tells them – We cannot let you bring your war here. They see them as outcasts and want to stay away from their conflict.
The trailer ends with Neyetiri being emotional about losing her home, while Jake tries to comfort her and asks her to be strong and be with him, for whatever is to come. As The Way of Water connects all things, before their birth and after death.
