On November 1st, 2024, BABYMONSTER released their first full-length album DRIP and released the music video of the track of the same name alongside the album. Bringing some energetic themes to our screens, the song brings the hip-hop vibes as the girls leave you mesmerised by the strong vocals and raps. Marking their powerful return, this is a song that makes you turn to the album as soon as possible.
The girl group debuted in April 2024 as a seven-member group consisting of the members Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rami, Rora, and Chiquita. While they debuted with the song Batter Up in November 2023 with six members due to health issues of one of the members, the official debut didn’t happen until April 2024. They officially debuted with their extended play BABYMONS7ER and have been attracting fans ever since.
BABYMONSTER released their first full-length studio album alongside the music video. The album consists of nine tracks among which DRIP and Click Clack serve as double-titled tracks. The other songs in the album are- Love Maybe, Really Like You, Billionaire, Love In My Heart, Woke Up In Tokyo, Forever, and Batter Up (Remix).
Now, let’s move on to the music video review.
BABYMONSTER DRIP MV Review

Starting with energetic beats right from the start, the song holds its power throughout its length while focusing on the member’s individual talents. The song brings a fun vibe to the table along with hip-hop elements that make you want to dance to the beats. It is simply fun, exciting, smooth, and the right piece to play at a party.
The music video starts off strong while the pink and black colour scheme highlights the youth and energy of the girls. But what really caught my eye was how well I am able to see every member and their unique talents. The raps were smooth the vocals even better, and personally, for me, it was the high note that hit me towards the end and became the highlight. It was simple beautiful and did not seem like something out of the box.

Every rap, every note, the dance sequence, the beats and the bridge; every single element had a smooth transition and fit in perfectly with the song. There was no feeling of disruption as all these elements moved in the perfect flow and only left me amazed throughout the song. It was so smooth and I can see that the group is surely here to stand out among the many other talents.
Meanwhile, the theme followed throughout the music video was simply beautiful and the right fit for this younger girl group. It shows their unique ensemble and how they are capable of many things. The dance sequence is just as energetic as the rest, bringing a unique vibe which matches everything that song is about. It doesn’t just have a cuteness to it but also a power that is just right.
BABYMONSTER is certainly a group of talented young girls and they are already creating a presence which is well worth being a competition in the industry. You can clearly see the group having fun in the song and I am excited to check out the rest of the album. Overall, this music video is simply perfect and addictive, marking a powerful beginning for the group.
