The third episode of Euphoria Season 2 was released on Monday. A lot of drama and “fun” happened in the new episode. It started with Rue (Zendaya) narrating the story of Cal Jacobs’ college life. Erik Dane plays the adult Cal, one of the most hated characters in the show. But fans are drooling over Young Cal and his best friend, Derek.
In Euphoria Season 2 Episode 3, we learned that Young Cal and Derek were best friends in college. The two were inseparable even when they were dating girls. However, life changed after college, and they got separated. Before they went their ways, Young Cal and Derek shared a romantic dance and passionate kiss at a bar. Who Plays Young Cal in Euphoria Season 2?
Actor Elias Kacavas plays Young Cal in the third episode. As mentioned on IMDb, Elias is from New Hampshire and is Greek. He studied at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts for drama. Elias trained as a method actor in the Strasberg studio. After 2 years, he decided to drop out to shoot for two big shows – Euphoria and Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin.
Elias Kacavas Instagram username is ‘eliaskacavas’. He has shared various photoshoots in which he looks quite charming. The actor also seems to be a fan of music as he has photos with guitar.

Who Plays Derek in Euphoria Season 2?
In the latest episode, actor Henry Eikenberry plays Young Cal’s best friend, Derek. Derek is a 23-year-old from New York City and attended Brooklyn Friends School (2017). Henry is also on Instagram, and his bio hints that his loved ones call him Hank. The bio reads, “If we’re cool you can call me Hank”.
Henry has a dog named Pancho and has siblings, namely Tristan, Hayden and Piper. The actor has a cool family and friend circle, as seen on Instagram. It seems like Euphoria is his first big acting project as there’s no mention of any other show/movie.
Henry shared some stills from the latest episode and thanked everyone for all the love and appreciation. The actor wrote, “Thank you so much for all the love and support.
