-Revenge of Others Episode 12 Recap Contains Spoilers-
Revenge of Others episode 12 begins with Soo-heon and Jae-beom standing in the stable when suddenly the former is hit in the head and made to faint. It is O-sung who has come to save him when he sees his phone along with Chan-mi and Soo-heon’s picture strip.
O-sung soon notices that there is something wrong with Jae-beom’s attitude and asks him when was it that his memory came back. Jae-beom then reveals all of O-sung’s plan as he realises that the latter made use of his dual personality to indirectly kill Won-seok. The two then get into a fistfight while Soo-heon wakes up for a moment before losing consciousness again.

Chan-mi continues to call him until Soo-heon comes back by himself. The next day, Jae-beom goes missing while Chan-mi and Soo-heon meet So-jung and tell her what happened. Later, the two discuss what has happened and find it hard to believe that Jae-beom is the murderer.
So-jung goes to the place where Jae-beom’s car was left behind and tries to find clues about him. Later, Chan-mi meets O-sung and successfully gets a confession of his presence at the stable the previous night. This gets O-sung back in front of So-jung as she interrogates him.
On the other hand, Soo-heon asks Ji-hyun to plant a tracker in O-sung’s bag which she helps him out with. The next day, A-jung calls So-yeon and asks her about her whereabouts after which she informs her of Jae-beom’s disappearance. However, So-yeon later sees Jae-beom in front of her and tells the two.
Meanwhile, Kwon Se-jin returns from the U.S. and reveals the truth of his relationship with Park Won-seok. He tells her that O-sung had taken a picture of the two and started blackmailing Park Won-seok because of which he started bullying the other students.
Chan-mi is angered by this and leaves with her gun while elsewhere, the police have identified Jae-beom as the culprit behind the murder. The next day, she confronts Jae-beom who accepts his mistakes and tells her that it was only recently that he regained his memories of what he had done when suddenly he turns into another person- his twin brother Seok Jae-jin.
The two get into a brawl while Jae-beom makes her faint. Upon regaining consciousness, Chan-mi sees him pointing her gun at her and starts to talk to him. She tells him that she is aware that he is Jae-jin right now and asks him to leave Jae-beom alone.
Jae-jin tells her that he was only trying to save Jae-beom when the latter decided to follow Soo-heon the day when the murder happened. It was because his face was seen that he had to kill the victim.
Chan-mi is unable to see her friend like this and pleads to Jae-jin to leave Jae-beom alone because she trusts that her friend is not a bad person and doesn’t want to see him hurt. Listening to her words, Jae-beom comes back but struck by the guilt he points the gun to his head.

Chan-mi rushes to him right then and doesn’t let him end his life while the police arrest him after all this. Meanwhile, Soo-heon sighs with relief after getting Chan-mi update, but this is soon followed by a message from Ji-hyun who asks him to meet her upstairs.
However, he soon finds out that it is O-sung who sent the message while Ji-hyun is his captive. Pointing a knife to her throat, he tells Soo-heon to kneel and comes forth to beat him up. Soo-heon sees this as a chance and fights him, the two get into a bloody brawl and soon reach the edge of the rooftop.
Revenge of Others Episode 12 Ending
Revenge of Others episode 12 ends with O-sung slipping and falling from the roof which shocks the students standing down who then look up to see an equally shocked Soo-heon. They start thinking of him as the culprit when a message from Min Seon-ha reveals that Soo-heon is the Hero who helped her take her revenge.
Like wildfire, the news spread while other evil deeds of O-sung’s come out which results in the students hiding the news of Soo-heon being present on the roof the day O-sung fell from the police. Ji-hyun does the same and reveals that O-sung jumped from the roof himself.
So-jung realises what has happened and chooses to ignore it. The scene then shifts to their graduation and we see everyone taking their pictures, except Soo-heon who decided to leave school to spend time for himself.
As the school says a heartfelt goodbye to him, Chan-mi- who has gotten into the marines- accompanies him as the two leave together.

Revenge of Others Episode 12 Review
The show has finally come to an end and the culprit was definitely an unexpected person right until the end. What surprised me the most has to be Jae-beom’s spilt personality which went from a sweet story about his twin to that of a killing ghost.
Soo-heon’s ending too was unexpected with the way his story had been building around his disease and the fragility of life that he had shown. However, his ending also shows him understanding this fragility and deciding on doing things that are most important to him.
Chan-mi’s ending was not as unexpected as she had always spoken about joining the marines and that was her goal since the beginning. On the other hand, O-sung’s ending was the perfect description of Karma hitting hard.
Altogether, the plot kept the theme of high schoolers, bullying and the murder mystery. With each of these finding an end, the story has found its completion even if I am not satisfied with it.
On the other hand, Jae-beom’s condition which seemed to have been so easily solved by Chan-mi doesn’t fit in well with the way the mystery had been built until now which also makes this end lean towards a disappointing side. I have to say, it is O-sung’s end that gives us more satisfaction than the mystery being solved.
