Reborn Rich Trailer: Song Joong-ki is Granted a Vengeful Do-Over In Upcoming Kdrama

Coming soon to Viu or Viki is Song Joong-ki’s latest kdrama titled Reborn Rich, an adaptation of the webtoon The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate by San Gyung. Directed by Jung Dae-yoon, the series also stars Lee Sung-min and Shin Hyun-bin as the main cast and Yoon Je-moon, Kim Jung-nan, and more in supporting roles.

Yoon Hyun-woo is a driven and devoted secretary working under the Jin family who owns Sunyang Corporation, a huge conglomerate. On being framed for fraud by the family, and soon dies following the event. His story however is far from over. Shortly, he’s reincarnated as Jin Do-joo, the youngest male of the same Jin family.

Now treading a path of vengeance, he first targets the CEO of the Sunyang Corporation- Jin Yang-chul (Lee Sung-min), his new grandfather. His plan isn’t one to be called a short-sighted one. Planning on taking over the company itself, he weaves an elaborate scheme as Jin Do -joo with the advantage of having an insight into the family.

An excerpt from the show’s synopsis on Viki reads:

Yoon Hyun Wo plots to use his new “identity” to formulate a hostile takeover of the group – and punish the people who killed him. But what role will be played in all this by a dogged public prosecutor named Seo Min Young (Shin Hyun Bin), an anti-corruption investigator who becomes known as the “Sunyang Group Grim Reaper?”

Song Joong-ki was last seen in Little Women as a guest appearance and in Vicenzo as the titular protagonist, whereas Lee Sung-min is currently playing the prime character of Detective Taek-rok in Disney+ Hotstar’s Shadow Detective and as Kang Won-joong in Juvenile Justice.
