Reborn Rich (The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate/The Chaebol’s Youngest Son/재벌집 막내아들) is a Kdrama based on the web novel Jaebeoljip Mangnaeadeul by San Kyeong. The Korean drama is directed by Jeong Dae-yun, and stars Song Joong-ki, Lee Sung-min, Shin Hyun-bin, Jo Han-chul, and Kim Nam-hee alongside other cast members.
The series details the chain of events that happen when Yoon Hyun-woo is reborn as Jin Do-joon and decides to seek revenge on his murderers in the Jin family and take over the family business of the Sunyang Group.
With the show bringing us a bittersweet ending which has left us all wanting for more, fans can’t help looking forward to the renewal of this drama with more magic and a better ending for the characters. After bringing a thrilling plot for weeks, the finale has somewhat left us all disappointed and in many cases confused as we are unsure of what really happened.
Who is Jin Do-jun and who is Yoon Hyun-woo? These questions have wrapped our heads as we try to decode the truth of these two characters played by Song Joong-ki. Not to forget the unfinished ending that we got for his love story with Seo Min-young, this show really needs a season 2 and we are here to tell you what you expect from another season.
Here’s Why Reborn Rich Season 2 is a Possibility
Who is Song Joong-ki?
One of the biggest mysteries that has left us all hanging is about Song Joong-ki’s character and we try to understand who he really is at the end. Is he Yoon Hyun-woo who lived as both himself and Jin Do-jun or is he the real Jin Do-jun who survived the accident by exchanging lives with Yoon Hyun-woo?
The possibility of them both can be true and this also comes with him being a third person, this is simply because of the fantasy tag attached to the show which opens the doors to endless possibilities.

Seo Min-young
One of the biggest regrets Reborn Rich has left us all with is the incomplete love that Seo Min-young has had to face only to be given new hope when Yoon Hyun-woo reminds her of Jin Do-jun. The Soonyang Grim Reaper really deserves a better ending and to see her filled with new hope again only to snatch it again as Hyun-woo seems to move on.
If there is another season then we can expect to see her discovering his truth and this may begin a new journey for the two.
Jin Family’s Retaliation
The Jin family has gone through an endless fight to take over Soonyang Group, so seeing them come to an end like this just doesn’t settle right for me. Will the family really give up like this or will they make a return to once again fight for their greed? This is something that can bring back another season of Reborn Rich for us all and will only make for another exciting plot.
However, if there are a new set of villains then we wouldn’t be saying no to them either.
Finally, while there has been no official statement for a Reborn Rich season 2 as of yet, we can hope for the creators to listen to our prayers and come back with an intense sequel for this show.
