Ozark Season 4 Part 1 to Archive 81: Netflix January 2022 Releases

The World’s biggest streamer- Netflix has an action-packed start to the year. From the highly-anticipated third season of Ricky Gervais’ award-winning series After Life to the James Wan-produced horror series Archive 81– Here are the top five things to watch on Netflix in January 2022.

Archive 81

James Wan is an absolute legend of the horror genre. The director has singlehandedly created a mega-horror universe for Warner Bros with his Conjuring series while also directing a Fast and Furious movie and the DC superhero movie Aquaman. So naturally, we have to watch the new horror series he has produced for the OTT giant titled Archive 81. The official synopsis reads, “An archivist takes a job restoring damaged videotapes and gets pulled into the vortex of a mystery involving the missing director and a demonic cult.” The first season launches on January 14.

Home Team

Kevin James starring Home Team is a heartwarming story of how an NFL coach reconnects with his son by coaching his son’s football team after being suspended from the NFL after a scandal. The film releases on January 28.

Ozark 

Another Netflix original series is the Ozark. Ozark will showcase the story of the Bryde couple in which Marty Bryde is a financial advisor but does deals for the Mexican Drug which go wrong, so the couple has to relocate to The Lake of Ozarks with their children. The fourth season releases on January 21.

After Life

Ricky Gervais’ heartbreaking comedy-drama series After Life has its third season coming out. The Office creator has created yet another series that has won plaudits all over with this wonderful portrayal of a man contemplating suicide and going through all the stages of grief after losing his wife. After two big seasons, the third and final season is one to watch out for, it releases on January 14.

The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window

The Kristen Bell starring mini-series in another Netflix original released this month. The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window is dubbed as a dark comedy series and will show the mundane life of Anna until she accidentally watches a murder happening in the next house. The Series releases on January 28.
