Netflix is taking us back to nostalgia by releasing a version of the childhood classic, and it is titled, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Once and Always. This film will be a continuation of the saga from the show bringing back the original players while also reanimating a villain we had seen defeated before. This 30-year reunion is directed by Charlie Haskell and written by Becca Barnes and Alwyn Dale. It is a short 55-minute special dedicated to tying up all the loose ends and giving fans the opportunity to see what these characters have become outside of this Power Rangers universe.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Once and Always Plot/Synopsis
Rita Repulsa is back, and she is out for blood. After killing one of the power ranges, the rest all gather in their ship to reconvene and catch up. After hearing their stories and understanding what will happen, the squad reassures each other that they will always be a Power Ranger, come rain or shine. This leads to a massive team-up, once again fighting their enemies together in their bright, super suits.
After looking into the details of what the villain wants, they find that she is building a time portal in order to go back and stop Zordon from making new power rangers in the first place. This is not just about saving the world, but it is about saving themselves against certain extinction. If the villain takes over the world, there will be anarchy and chaos on the street.

The heroes all come together to fight the lackeys, create a strategy, work in a team and finally assemble in a larger super suit where their powers come together to defeat the nemeses terrifying the city and the rest of the planet. The film is an actual visual treat because it brings people right back to the experience of watching this for the first time on television with the dramatic writing, the over-enthusiastic characters and the extremely villainous villains ready to take over the planet.
Their flashy costumes, the new storyline and the personal touch this time showcase that the film is not just made for fan service, and there may be some hidden story nugget we could all chew on as the film releases on Netflix.
