MasterChef India Season 7 Episode 54 is hosted by Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar and joined by Garima Arora as a judge on the show, the seventh instalment of the series has been produced by Endemol Shine India and directed by Neeraj Shetty. The latest episode, titled ‘Triple Challenge’, that premiered on March 16, 2023, at 9PM IST, had the home cooks tested on the basis of three parameters – taste, innovation and presentation.
The cooking competition show is a nationwide quest to find the best ‘home cook’ and draws out some of the most brilliant chefs from across India. The judges sample recipes from various cuisines that the contestants prepare in their search for India’s ‘MasterChef’. And after going through many challenges, one will win the grand prize and the titles.
With each of these parameters being graded distinctly, the contestants are examined for their culinary skills and creative input. Since Ms Kamaldeep had already earned the ticket to the finale early on, she still sits this new contest out while the others are headed towards the next gruelling chapter of their semi finale examination.
Despite winning the team challenge, the blue team players – Suvarna, Sachin and Santa – can no longer have the upper hand in the latest episode. They again put on the black apron and fear the dangers of elimination, just like the other show participants. After all that grand effort, the fans fear what awaits Sachin in the next episode, as they’re already predicting his elimination.
The new challenge was limited to vegetarian options, making the audience question whether it was worth bringing into the semi-final week’s series. Moreover, since some were also related to preparing desserts, baking cakes etc., the viewers can’t help but miss their favourite home cook Priyanka (eliminated before the semi-final round), because this was up her alley, and they know that she would’ve cracked the case.

When Suvarna expressed gratitude for the opportunity to cook for Mumbai’s dabbawallas Ranveer Brar’s reaction is sheer rude arrogance.
