MasterChef India Season 7 Episode 12 Reactions are coming in as soon as the show premiered tonight. Hosted by Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar and joined by Garima Arora, the first-ever female chef to be a judge on the show, it is produced by Endemol Shine India and directed by Neeraj Shetty.
MasterChef India Season 7 Episode 12 is titled ‘MasterChef Ka Brahmastra’ and the synopsis reads as – The task of winning the ‘immunity pin’ continues with the remaining eight home cooks. What new tasks have the chefs planned for the home cooks?
The cooking competition show is a nationwide quest to find the best ‘home cook’ and draws out some of the most brilliant chefs from across India. The judges sample recipes from various cuisines that the contestants prepare in their search for India’s ‘MasterChef’. And after going through many challenges, one will win the grand prize and the titles.
The second day of the immunity challenge was especially hard on the contestants as they were restricted to make dishes by selecting a random level from the pyramid. It was divided into four levels. Level 1 consisted of herbs, spices and seeds; level 2 consisted of fruits and meat products; level 3 consisted of vegetables and nuts; and level 4 consisted of grains, cereals and sweeteners.
They were given 1 minute to select the ingredients and get cooking but in the middle of the show, they were asked to swap places with their counterparts at the same level. This twist made everyone lose focus as they now had to complete the dish in front of them, without even knowing what was it being prepared for.
Due to this, the frustration turned into anger towards other contestants and conflict arise between them. Many blamed the other for not telling them correctly about the dishes they were making, while some contestants were scolded by the judges for not tasting what they were presenting and even not knowing the ingredients on their plates.
