The Amazon Prime Video description states:
A sad goodbye, some giggles, some tears and a heavy heart. That’s how we see the four girls this season. Each of them is saddled by baggage, most of which slump their shoulders and almost make them fall. All that the four of them are seeking this season is closure but sometimes the closing chapters are the most painful ones.

The more I watch Four More Shots Please, the more I wonder where Damini used to work to afford that house and that many clothes and bar visits while staying in Mumbai. And also, are they hiring?
But jokes aside. The previous two seasons of Four More Shots Please left us with the four friends navigating their professional and personal relationships and coming out victorious and happy at the end of it all.
Four More Shots Please tries its best to stay somewhat relevant for folks who don’t have tons of money and are struggling with the different things in their lives. Although the last season saw some glitz and glam and no growth for the girls, only repetitions of the same f-ups from the previous season.
This time around, at least the four of them are trying to make something out of their lives, although they still make tons and tons of mistakes. Four More Shots Please season 3 gives our girls a chance to redeem themselves and probably not make the same mistakes.
As they learn and grow, their friendships come in handy a lot, and sometimes, just sometimes, it’s really good and empowering. The thought of having your girls having your back no matter what is great, and watching it happen fills you with hope. Although I’d wish that the gang of besties also stopped their friends from having an affair with married people, but you can’t win it all.
That being said, Four More Shots Please season 3 isn’t anything new, but for everyone who has seen the previous seasons, of course, the natural progression fits right in. The pretentiousness is still there, and the convenient solutions to everyone’s problems are an everyday matter. You still feel a bit icky with the hypocrisy and appalled at how these adults behave like little children the moment things get a bit difficult.
I think watching a gang of girls going through their issues is quite an interesting watch with all of their silly fights and unnecessary drama. However, acting like a spoilt and arrogant child when you are anything but that is what gets me riled up. I can understand having a rough day or needing time to get over the trauma, but a man all of these girls are clueless.
Which begs the question of how much the audience can believe that this is the reality or just lazy writing. You want to believe that these are strong independent women who have their heads on right and won’t make devastatingly silly choices. However, they do that in a heartbeat when their character histories don’t turn them out to be bumbling buffoons.

Either way, Four More Shots Please season 3, much like its predecessors, is highly predictable and thoroughly unoriginal. The girls’ petty feuds and the problems that they find themselves with are ok when you’re in you’re a teenager or in your early 20s, but these girls are just too old to make mistakes of this calibre. And yes, I am aware that mistakes are not age-sensitive, but even with that, there are some mistakes that just don’t look good after a certain point.
However, in spite of remaking old mistakes and learning almost nothing from them, our protagonists, by the last episode, do find some growth that is nice to watch. Their toxic romantic relationships do get better somewhat, and you see their character arcs somewhat. That’s refreshing, considering that that arc was missing in the last two seasons.
Through all of the bad fights and insulting name-calling, though, one thing that stays strong and keeps the series alive is the relationship between the girls. One wouldn’t be able to guess that these women have not been friends since childhood, which is great. Sometimes, you need a silly show like this to remind everyone to stick by other women and lift each other up. Women get crap too much anyway; the last thing we need is crap for our own kind.
Also, 10 episodes are a bit much. I feel like Four More Shots Please season 3 could’ve just cut off the extra drama and unnecessary conversations that took up too much time in the show for absolutely no reason. Did we need to see Siddhi having another temper tantrum in the span of 10 minutes? Maybe not. Plus, some things really feel forced and added just to pad the runtime, which just feels so exhausting after a while.

That being said, the only interesting storyline that I felt was of Kirti Kulhari’s Anjana and Neil Bhoopalam’s Varun. Both are excellent actors who really bring the complexities of their characters and situations out. Every last one of them is toxic, though, so don’t get me wrong there, but at least there was also some meat there. Apart from them, the others are good too, although their characters really don’t do justice. I liked Umang and her relatable storyline, but Bani J falters sometimes.
In the end, I fail to understand the point of Jim Sarbh’s character. It should be criminal to waste someone like him in such a sad way, but hey, at least we got some cuteness there.
Summing Up: Four More Shots Please Season 3
Four More Shots Please season 3, exactly like the last seasons, is just annoying with its 10 episodes rife with unnecessary tantrums and the worst decisions that an adult can make. These are flawed and somewhat selfish people who only look at their own fun times without thinking about the consequence and how that hurts others. And that’s never a fun thing to watch.
