Eternals: Richard Madden on Working With Gemma Chan-Kit Harington

Seeing Richard Madden and Kit Harington reunite on screen after a decade surely put the ‘Game of Thrones’ fans’ hearts at ease. The last we saw them was as the Stark brothers in HBO’s classic series but it surely was not enough time to understand the chemistry between the actors. This time we got to see the talented actors join hands for MCU’s ‘Eternals’.

In ‘Eternals’ we see Richard Madden play the role of the strongest Eternal Ikaris, whereas Kit Harington plays the role of Dan Whitman aka the Black Knight. Their characters share one pivotal scene in the film at the very start with their linking factor, Sersi who is played by Gemma Chan. Turns out Chan is again a close friend of both Madden and Harington. As an epic love triangle burns on screen, the atmosphere almost makes fans curious about how it was like for the close pals to come together for this film.

During a chat with Pinkvilla, Richard Madden was asked about how it felt to reunite with his Stark sibling Harington after ten years on the MCU set. Madden revealed, “It was beautiful to be back on set with a very close friend of mine. And Gemma is very close of mine and we have this great moment of the three of us being on set together in an area of London that we hang out in, sometimes”.

Richard Madden also added that he did not feel like he was at work saying, “So, you have to pinch yourself and think, ‘Am I at work? Because I’m just here with my friends.'”

Meanwhile, ‘Eternals’ is the 26th Marvel film in the instalment and has released in India on November 5. You can read a spoiler-free review of the movie, here.
