No Good Deed Review

From the creator of Dead to Me, 2 Broke Girls, and more comes No Good Deed which follows the story of three families vying to buy a house, hoping it will solve all their problems. However, what this brings is the revelation of a secret hidden within the hearts of the owners from three years back. As the past comes to face them again, old wounds are reopened.

The plot of the film is definitely intriguing and it catches your eyes in a few minutes. However, it soon goes downhill and seems like something you’ve already seen before. But that doesn’t mean that you should give up on it; stick on because it soon gets intriguing when the mystery catches up. The plot is certainly intriguing once it picks up because the secrets that begin to reveal themselves will leave you stunned every time the episode ends.

It is the cliffhangers that really make you play the next episode so quickly and these plot twists are so strong that you cannot stop yourself from doing this. And while the plot really brings in the best form of entertainment it can provide, the characters of the show are no less intriguing. The plot follows three families of buyers and one family, that is trying to sell the house. And all these families are interesting in their own ways.

You will see a lot of relatable elements as well as those that are perfect for a fictional character. These elements bring the best of everything as you find yourself pulled into the plot through these characters who all tie their hopes with the house the family is trying to sell. Meanwhile, you will also find Lisa Kudrow’s character as Lydia somewhat resonates with her infamous Phoebe Buffay in many ways, as she keeps the entertainment high.

But she isn’t the only one we are looking at; Linda Cardellini is just as entertaining in this show as she brings a unique twist through her character. These two women play polar opposite roles in the series and while their interactions are limited, they really carry the show in the best way possible. They are the foundation of this show that is later carried by other intriguing female characters.

Meanwhile, we also have the male characters bringing their share of entertainment to the table, but not as strong as what the women are doing. On the other hand, you also have the beautiful camerawork of the show that really needs to be mentioned separately. The scenes that smoothly take us out of the house are intriguing because you don’t often see this in a series such as this one. It adds to the layer of mystery and thrill that is lying around in the show, making it all the more entertaining for the viewers.
