Yakuza Fiancé Episode 11 Recap

The tension surrounding Kirishima has finally subsided, allowing him to genuinely enjoy spending time with Yoshino. This episode begins with the Somei family coming together to honour Yoshino’s father, who passed away at a very young age. Although he was a timid man with no ties to the Yakuza, there’s an air of mystery surrounding his death that could unravel further as the story progresses.
On the surface, things seem calm, and Yoshino might believe her grandfather remains unaware of her recent misstep. However, it’s clear that matters are more complicated than they appear. The seemingly cheerful and easygoing figure of Yoshino’s grandfather reveals a more ruthless side when it comes to protecting his family. He has entrusted Kirishima with Yoshino’s safety, and he expects nothing less than complete accountability.

Meanwhile, a significant shift is occurring in the relationship between Kirishima and Shoma. Shoma’s discomfort with Yoshino continuing to associate with Kirishima becomes increasingly evident. This tension reaches a boiling point when Kirishima deliberately informs Shoma that he has started dating Yoshino. Their confrontation escalates into a heated fistfight, only coming to a halt when Yoshino steps in to break it up.
Yakuza Fiancé Episode 12 Review

Kirishima has done everything he wanted, and now it is his time to face the consequences. Yoshino definitely could not take him on a fight, nor could she scold him as it would only earn her one of his insincere apologies, delivered with a smirk. So what can she do to deliver maximum damage while making her point to an insane man like Kirishima? Simply, by hitting him where it hurts the most by cutting him off completely, refusing to acknowledge his existence. No words, no reactions, just pure, icy silence.
This yields remarkable results. Kirishima almost resorts to his unhinged ways, and not knowing what to do, he suffers in silence. But the best part of all of this is that these two finally talk. They have a long chat about what Yoshino is upset about, and she also tries to understand his obsession with her. I really think this was a turning point in their relationship as they see each other’s real selves a lot more from this point onwards.

But where their bond is taking off, problems in the Yakuza circle are also reaching new heights. Yoshino’s grandfather is in a pretty high position in his group, making him an obvious contender for the leader’s position. In such a situation, Yoshino becomes a key prey for rivals to target. On top of that, we also have the mysterious man, Azami, whose goal of targeting Yoshino remains unknown till the end. But one thing is clear, he will not stop here and will try to harm Yoshino again.

Now, let us talk about the main moments from this episode. The scene of Kirishima doing unwritable things with cream and Yoshino’s hands remains the highlight. He really slipped control for a second and showed just what he would like to do with her now that they are in a relationship. Watch the episode to understand what I mean.
Verdict

I absolutely loved this episode because it shows that Kirishima can be crazy with his love for Yoshino but also sweet, as we see in the last bit. This was a really good romance anime that was not one-dimensional and showcased imperfect and quirky characters.
I also loved the whole season and would absolutely want another season as things ended too soon.
