Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle Episode 3 Review
If the last two episodes of Two Much have taught us anything, it’s that the series likes asking questions about gender issues and then skirting past is conveniently to something more palatable. Episode 3 is no different, but Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar bring a lot of fun conversations to the table that will entertain viewers thoroughly in all other aspects.
The episode focuses mainly on the two guests’ work and personal lives, wherein they share hilarious stories about working with one another and other funny anecdotes. I think this episode is my favourite of the three that have been released, and it made me want to listen to the guests a bit more. Both Khan and Kumar are great storytellers and share a natural chemistry, such that viewers will find themselves a part of their discussions.
Moreover, both guests have some hilarious stories to share, which, in themselves, are very entertaining. They share some personal anecdotes, including Khan’s residence break-in, that will make you interested in the story. However, I will say that the series suffers a lot from being quite surface-level. I think we skip from one story to another a bit too fast, so much so that nothing really creates an impact. Considering each episode is around 50 minutes, that’s a bit surprising as well.
One problem I faced in this episode is that the hosts tend to talk over the guests, which leaves you unable to properly listen to the guests’ comments. I mean, sure, they are funny and all, but I want to hear what the guests have to say instead of the hosts’ personal opinions. Moreover, again, why bring up important gender issues and not address them well? What’s the point of surface-level explorations of questions about whether or not the hosts think that it’s still a man’s world? I think the series requires better scripting so that each question gets the appropriate time to get answered instead of flying through them half-heartedly.
Final Thoughts
Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle Episode 3 is the best watch out of the three that have been released so far, only because the guests have fantastic chemistry and are very witty. That being said, the series suffers from bad scripting, and it desperately needs to pay more attention to getting questions answered completely instead of running through a hundred different questions half-heartedly.
