The plot of the film revolves around two brothers drowning in debt when suddenly, they find out that they’ve lost their home to a big-name company due to the carelessness of the younger brother. Meanwhile, the elder brother is already undergoing hard times being a single father and being at risk of social workers taking his son away from him. Left with no choice in front of them, they try to sort things out with the company’s owner but instead get into talking to his daughter.

However, they are unable to approach her so the younger brother plans to trap her in a scam and get her to help them out through charity. Unfortunately, things soon take a turn when feelings begin to emerge and guilt begins to eat the elder brother up. Will they ever be able to handle the mess created and save their home?

Being a romantic comedy, you can expect the typical plot that comes your way. But when the troupe is of a rich grumpy girl and a poor soft boy, you know that you are sure to get hooked. So when it comes to the plot, the film was without a doubt entertaining and simply breezy. It wasn’t anything too burdening and did right by keeping things light until the end, making for a very interesting plot in its own way.

Rom-com lovers are sure to find this film entertaining and all for the right reasons. It isn’t too over the top and will give you the right sparks of comic scenes which keep the entertainment high. And with the addition of the little boy, you might as well find yourself going aww during some moments. The plot was smooth and didn’t leave behind any rough edges, making it a worthwhile watch.

Then coming to the actors, I have to say that they have done quite well indeed. Their performance is done well as you find yourself getting pulled into the plot. They really know how to catch the emotions and confusion of their characters, bringing about a performance that truly involves you in the story. Even the chemistry between the main leads is intriguing, creating a tension that really keeps you on your toes.

Meanwhile, the cinematography is another plus point that ensures a smooth experience for viewers. The camerawork is good and so are the locations chosen for the various scenes in the film. I have loved the various sights captured of Naples, Italy, and this has especially made the film a pleasure to watch. Thus, making sure that viewers truly get to experience the place and its culture in ways that call for a good experience.

Altogether, the film has made for a good start for romcom lovers this year and if Netflix is bringing more such film in this genre, then we are only excited for what’s to come next.
