Everybody Loves Me When I’m Dead Ending Explained
The movie opens with Toh and his colleagues getting replaced by AI in their bank jobs. Money is tough, and the thought of losing their jobs isn’t the greatest, especially now that Toh’s daughter is in school and also requires some medical assistance. When they learn, thus, that they won’t be getting a raise because the AI ranked him “below standard”, Petch floats a plan to steal 30 million baht from a dormant account before they are both ruined.
Toh is initially completely against the idea, but when his ex-colleague Shane commits suicide in front of their eyes, he takes matters into his own hands and finally turns the dormant account active. Petch and Toh immediately start to move the money from the account, and after enjoying the fruits of their labour for some time, they are immediately pursued by a criminal looking to make some quick cash.

Whose money is in the account?
We learn quickly in the runtime that the money was deposited by a criminal in his maid’s account, who ran away with it. However, despite searching for her for years, he is unable to find her. Turns out it’s the woman we see dead for days alone in her apartment when the film starts, and no one knew about the money, not even her own daughter. The man thinks that the money is possibly still in the account, unaware that Toh and Petch have already got their hands on it. The man is eventually killed by his partner, Vodka, who gets rid of him to get his hands on the 30 million.
Who gets the money in the end?
While Toh and Petch get the money out of the account slowly, Vodka gets in touch with the maid’s daughter, Khem, to get the money for himself. Meanwhile, Toh is double-crossed when he tries to use a minor to open a bank account and launder money through her, but she steals it instead. On the other hand, Petch, too, has been withdrawing money quite frequently and, desperate not to lose out on his share, he withdraws all the cash from the account in one go.

But, there is still Khem, who arrives at the bank after all the money is withdrawn to get the money in the account. The men refuse to give them the money without a court order, which results in Khem going against Vodka, resulting in him attacking her. Petch saves her, and the two eventually get away.

Now that Vodka is after them, the two bank employees decide to make a run for it and in the end, things go out of hand at Sek’s hideout. A fight ensues and, in the end, Toh walks out with all the money.
Are Petch and Toh caught?

Vodka ends up killing Petch in the hideout fight, after which Toh deposits all of the money into his daughter. He eventually voluntarily gives himself up to the police, and although he’s happy that he could give his daughter a good life, he is killed in prison. The last scene shows that Toh deposited the money in Shane’s account, continuing the cycle that started it all.
