Taylor Swift has always been in and out of controversies. In recent years, the singer-songwriter has been either making the headlines or, disappearing off the face of social media. Irrespective of anything, Swift’s songs have always been well received and appreciated by her listeners and the music fraternity. She has had one of the most influential careers in music and, with the recent release of her Taylor’s Version for her previously released albums, the artist has been soaring heights.
But, as much Swift tries to keep away from the noise in the background, she seems to be drawn to it quite often. Recently, it has been a comment on her songwriting skills that have pushed the singer off the edge to take over Twitter and fire away the allegations made about her talent. It was musician Damon Albarn whose interview with the Los Angeles Times revealed some funny yet rude lines.
The Newspaper’s Twitter handle posted Albarn’s two cents about some chart-topping music artists. The list included two artists- Billie Eilish and Tayor Swift. On one hand, Albarn was all praise for Eilish music writing that she is, in fact, exceptional. However, when it came to Swift, the English singer wrote: “She doesn’t write her own songs.” The Bad Blood singer did not hold back when the allegation surfaced and fired right at Albarn.

Taylor Swift’s tweet made it abundantly clear that she writes her songs and tweets all by herself! Clearly, the singer seems hurt to have been thrown back by the comment, especially from someone she has been a fan of. Well, looks like the controversy will take some time to die off as stans from both sides have been actively taking their stance on the entire incident.
