Sidharth Shukla, one of television’s biggest stars, sadly passed away in Mumbai. The 40-year-old actor died due to a heart attack and was taken to Cooper Hospital in the morning. His family, friends, and fans are devastated by the news of his death. Leisurebyte spoke to Sid’s friend and casting director, Shadman Khan, who is heartbroken with the news.
Shadman Khan said that he met Sidharth a few days ago when he visited the sets of Bigg Boss OTT. The actor looked happy at that time, and they spent some time together. Khan, who is currently in Lucknow, said, “We met a few days ago when he came on Bigg Boss OTT at his place. He was fine. I don’t know what happened suddenly. I still can’t believe that he is no more.”
Shadman Khan reveals that he was in a discussion about a new web series with the late actor. Sidharth Shukla was also receiving other big projects, and he was also being approached for a South Indian film. “I was planning to make a web series with him and that’s what we discussed when we last met. I had a big project planned for him and we were going to discuss dates and everything. He had many big projects in his hands. Sid was going to do a South Indian film. He was getting offers for big shows on various OTT platforms.”
The casting director worked with Sidharth Shukla for a TVC long ago. Post the project, they remained in touch and became friends. Khan said that the Bigg Boss 13 winner was a chill and happy person. “Sidharth was a very chill person. He was the life of the party and would joke around, play guitar. He had an energetic and charming personality. Sidharth was down to earth and would always agree whenever fans asked for pics. After Bigg Boss, his life changed entirely. He was working a lot and enjoying it. He didn’t have any illness and used to enjoy working out.”
The actor was last seen in ALTBalaji’s Broken But Beautiful Season 3.
