The upcoming Turkish black comedy drama Man on Pause is about midlife andropause gone wrong. It is centred around the protagonist Yusuf, who reinvents a way of living his life, particularly one that will impact him forever. There will be a total of six episodes in the first season of the show.
The episodes will be directed by Durul Taylan and Yagmur Taylan and written by Engin Günaydin.

The cast of the show features Engin Günaydin, Gülçin Santircioglu, Yuliia Sobol, Sebnem Hassanisoughi, Turgut Tuncalp, Tamer Karadagli, Derya Karadas, Doga Zeynep Doguslu, Zeynep Selimoglu, Ergin Torun, Melissa Dilber, Merih Dilber. All of whom form the bulk of this Turkish Drama.
Man on Pause Plot/Storyline
The story of Man on Pause starts with the andropause of Yusuf, a fifty-something man, who is fed up with his normal life and decides to change for the better. Everything starts to take shape when he makes the radical decision of dying his hair blonde. Moreover, the change is not limited to his hair but also to the events in his life.
From what we can deduce in the trailer, Yusuf involves himself in some sort of criminal activity. And later invites a bunch of new trouble. However, deep down inside he is happy to deal with the collateral damage, as he feels it is like a break from his mundane routine. Maybe he can handle a life of illegal activities.

Yusuf’s wife is constantly worried about her changing husband. Which we can observe from her constant quarrel. Eventually, she gives in to the decision after noticing the newly found smile on Yusuf’s face.
For the first time in his life, the protagonist finds true happiness. This also changes his moral worldview and makes him a completely different man. However, every journey has its share of speedbumps. And Yusuf finally stumbles on one of them.
Ultimately, it all becomes a little too much for Yusuf and his family, who start having serious troubles. In the end, he has to decide whether a life of crime is the way forward or not.
