– Physical 100 Episode 4 Review Contains No Spoilers –
The episode starts off with Choo Sung-hoon and Dong-guk’s results. Both the players shared how amazing the fight felt and bid farewell, respectively. Then, the remaining pairs fight head to head, and finally, the 50 participants are chosen. From 100 to 50, the elimination outdid every talented participant leaving the remaining participants to watch out for the following missions.
All 50 are then asked to visit a room that looks like a typical “heaven” for fitness freaks. With shelves stacked with proteins, supplements, and food items and an area loaded with workout equipment, the participants were given time to slack off for a while. Everyone started to relax, exchange conversations, and satisfy their hunger. Though participants seem to be taking their time off, a tingling fear runs in each of them as they ponder about the next quest.

As expected, the announcement was made, and the participants returned to the main hall, where the remaining torso sculptures were placed. Then it is there the second quest is announced, leading the contestants to decide on. The mission wasn’t explained however, the main criteria were told to them.
The strategy planned by the participants was fun to watch here. As they had no idea what the mission was about, some focused on physical abilities, while certain participants judged that mind games might be implemented. Accordingly, the contestants started to prepare themselves.
This episode was exciting to watch because the first betrayal happens right here. Two contestants who planned to go to the next level together will face off against each other, and only one can remain. Whether this was planned or not, the tension between them felt real. Truth be told, I’m personally cheering for one contestant to win this mission because the latter failed to have a sportsmanship attitude.
The second round started vehemently, and the participants gave their best shot. Like all the previous episodes, this one also ended with a cliffhanger, and I can’t wait to know the results. The art design team has to be appreciated because the set-up of the second mission was excellent.
Apart from that, I believe whoever came up with the game ideas would have brainstormed for months because the plan included mental and physical skills, and most importantly, they’re fantastic. Speaking of round 2, only 25 participants will remain once it ends, which is already rousing tension among the players and the viewers.
