Ms Incognito Ending Explained
The season opens with Yeong-ran getting hired for the role of a personal bodyguard of Sung-ho, the ageing owner of a huge corporation, on a fluke, after he takes to her courage, no-nonsense attitude and honesty. However, within a few days, Yeong-ran learns that Sung-ho’s life is under constant threat from outside, as his stepchildren, Seon-yeong and Seon-woo, are after his fortune and waiting for him to die as soon as possible.
Not willing to part with his fortunes in this way, he comes up with a scheme to keep the money out of their grasp and marries Yeong-ran. She is initially unwilling to take part in whatever this is, but he opens up to him about his daughter Ye-rim’s murder at the hands of the siblings and offers her a ton of money, both of which end up convincing her to take this drastic step.

Before their plan can be fully realised, though, Sung-ho commits suicide, leaving Yeong-ran to be ushered off to Muchang to live as a small-town teacher and to possibly keep her safe. She soon becomes a part of the villagers, while in Seoul, Seon-yeong desperately tries to search for Yeong-ran. A push and pull ensues, at the end of which, Seon-yeong learns about her hideout in Muchang and sends people to kill her.
In the midst of this, conflict arises between Seon-woo and Seon-yeong as she tries to stop him from selling his share in the company and exposing her role in Ye-rim’s murder. Seon-yeong ends up killing Seon-woo and sending someone after Yeong-ran, who is almost killed. Thankfully, she comes out alive and decides to go back to Seoul to end their problems once and for all.

Unfortunately, Seon-yeong isn’t someone who takes rebellion lightly and eventually threatens Yeong-ran using Ju-won and Dong-min. Unable to let them be harmed, she tries to take her own life and, in a surprising twist, finds Sung-ho still alive. With renewed vigour, she and Don end up proving Dong-min’s innocence and Seon-yeong’s role in all of this mess.
Does Yeong-ran Defeat Seon-yeon?
Just as things start to get better for Yeong-ran, Seon-yeong gets wind that Sung-ho is alive and arrives at the house when no one is there and stabs Sung-ho to death, confessing just before he slips away that she was the one who killed Ye-rim. Unbeknownst to her, though, Sung-ho had all of this recorded, and Yeong-ran eventually finds the camera and hands it over to the police. That, and Seon-woo’s video of her killing Ye-rim, seals her fate, and she eventually goes to prison.

Meanwhile, Yeong-ran hands over control of the company to another executive while asking for major restructuring of the company and eventually leaves her estate behind to find happiness.
What Happens to Her and Dong-min?
Although Yeong-ran was initially unsure, she eventually agreed to find happiness with Dong-min and surprises him with a visit to Muchang in the midst of Hye-ji’s wedding to Tae-min. It’s a sweet moment for everyone that gives them all hope for a brighter future.
