Hasan Minhaj: The King’s Jester- October 4

The new Netflix special of popular comedian Hasan Minhaj drops on Netflix today. The special explores his thoughts on fertility, fatherhood, and freedom of speech in this follow-up to his award-winning comedy special Homecoming King.

The Ghost- October 5

This Telegu theatrical release is about an Interpol officer that goes missing during one of his mission, and makes a return after several years, to protect his family. The flick stars South Superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni along with Sonal Chauhan in the titular roles and is directed by Praveen Sattaru.

Godfather-October 5

Starring Chiranjeevi, Nayanthara, and Salman Khan in lead roles, this Telegu remake of Lucifer revolve around the struggle for succession in a ruling political party. It is directed by Mohan Raja and is slated for a theatrical release.

Togo- October 5

A man who looks after cars parked on his turf must protect his livelihood when traffickers attempt to make him and his pals sell drugs on the streets. Starring Diego Alonso, Catalina Arrillaga, and Néstor Prieto the flick will be available to stream on Netflix.

Jumping from High Places-October 5

To honour her best friend’s last wish, a young woman with severe anxiety confronts her greatest fears to try and reclaim her life and perhaps find love. The film stars Federica Torchetti, Cristiano Caccamo and Celeste Savino. Moreover, you can watch it on Netflix.

EESHO- October 5

EESHO is an upcoming Malayalam thriller starring Jayasurya and Nadirshah. The trailer doesn’t give away much of the plot but promises to be an intriguing watch. You can this Nadirshah directorial on Sony Liv.

Aapdi Thaapdi-Ocotber 5

Aapdi Thaapdi is an upcoming Marathi Language film starring Shreyas Talpade and Mukta Barve. The film explores the good old stories of Malugudi Days and you can expect a theatrical release.

Mr Harrigan’s Phone- October 5

From Ryan Murphy, Blumhouse and Stephen King comes a supernatural coming-of-age story, starring Donald Sutherland and Jaeden Martell. Written and directed for the screen by John Lee Hancock. You can watch Mr Harrigan’s phone on Netflix, starting from October 5, 2022.

Maja Ma- October 6

Starring Madhuri Dixit in the lead role, Maja Ma explores the story of a middle-class woman, who loves to dance her heart out. However, a rumour spreads about her personal life and leads to chaos. You can watch the flick on Amazon Prime.

Werewolf by Night- October 6

The new Marvel presentation is a television film that revolves around mythical creatures. It stars Gael Garcia Bernal, Laura Donnelly, and Harriet Sansom Harris in the lead roles. Furthermore, you can watch Warewolf by Night on Disney+Hotstar.

The Joys and Sorrows of Young Yuguo- October 6

In this moving documentary film, teen Yuguo goes on the adventure of a lifetime as he leaves China to pursue his passion for Romanian literature and culture. You can stream it on Netflix.

Ticket to Paradise-October 6

A man takes on the job of caring for a little girl—the daughter he left behind years ago. Baron Geisler stars in Doll House, which releases on Netflix.

Catherine Called Birdy- October 7

Set in the medieval period of England, the film is about a daughter of an English lord, who wants to marry her to a wealthy suitor. It stars Bella Ramsey, Lena Dunham, Andrew Scott, and Joe Alwyn in lead roles. You can stream the film on Amazon Prime Video.

Luckiest Girl Alive- October 7

Based on the best-selling novel, Ani FaNelli (Mila Kunis), a sharp-tongued New Yorker appears to have it all: a sought-after position at a glossy magazine, a killer wardrobe, and a dream Nantucket wedding on the horizon. But when the director of a crime documentary invites her to tell her side of the shocking incident that took place when she was a teenager at the prestigious Brentley School, Ani is forced to confront a dark truth that threatens to unravel her meticulously crafted life. When a local flour mill owner is subjected to an inflated electricity bill, he sets on a path to discover government offices infested with corruption.
