1. The Takeover- November 1
A self-proclaimed hacker averts her life in danger after indulging in high-profile criminal hacking. As a result, the hacker exposes a segment of the illegal syndicates, involving some dangerous people. Now, she has to save her life in order to prove herself innocent. This victim-on-the-run thriller is directed by Annemarie van de Mond and is slated to stream on Netflix.
2. Phone Bhoot- November 4
This Horror-Comedy flick starring Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khattar and Siddhant Chaturvedi in lead roles, is about a team of ghostbusters, who make money out of catching spirits. Phone Bhoot is directed by Gurmeet Singh and produced under the banner of excel films, by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. The film is also an exclusive theatre release and is already anticipated to be a fun ride.
3. Mili- November 4
The plot of Mili revolves around an ambitious girl, who works at a fast food place, and plans to make a future for herself in abroad. The film takes a sharp turn when she gets trapped inside a freezer room, and has to struggle to keep herself alive.
The film is directed by Mathukutty Xavier and stars Jahnvi Kapoor, Sunny Kaushal, Manoj Pahwa and Sanjay Suri in the lead role. Furthermore, A R Rahman has given the music for this theatrical release.
4. Double XL- November 4
The film is a story of friendship, love and acceptance and stars Sonakshi Sinha, Huma Qureshi, Zaheer Iqbal and Mahat Raghavendra in pivotal roles. It is directed by Satramm Ramani and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vipul D Shah, Rajesh Bahl & Ashwin Varde, and Saqib Saleem. Double XL will be a theatre-only release.
5. Desterro- November 4
Desterro revolves around a woman, who disappears under mysterious circumstances and leaves her son and husband in constant array and confusion. One of the most critically acclaimed films of the year, stars Carla Kinzo, Otto Junior David Lobo and others, and is set to drop on Netflix.
6. Enola Holmes 2- November 4
Millie Bobby Brown, Henry Cavill, and Helena Bonham Carter return in Enola Holmes 2 — where a mystery of historic proportions takes 2 Holmes to handle. Directed by Harry Bradbeer and also starring: Louis Partridge, Adeel Akhtar, David Thewlis, Susan Wokoma & Sharon Duncan-Brewster. The film will be available to stream on Netflix.
7. Ẹlẹṣin Ọba: The King’s Horseman- November 4
After his king dies, a horseman must sacrifice himself to serve his ruler in the afterlife — but sudden distractions lead to unexpected tragedy. The film stars Odunlade Adekola, Shaffy Bello, and Deyemi Okanlawon and is based on a real-life story. You will find the movie on Netflix.
8. Causeway- November 4
Two unlikely strangers find solace in newfound friendship as they navigate their journey from grief to healing. The film tells a story of a vet, who returns to her home after suffering combat injuries, only to find herself lost and in pain. Jennifer Lawrence and Brian Tyree Henry star in Causeway, in theatres and streaming on Apple TV+.
9. Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile- November 4
Based on the best-selling book series by Bernard Waber, Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile, starring Academy Award-winner Javier Bardem, Constance Wu and Shawn Mendes, is a live-action/CGI musical comedy that brings this beloved character to a new, global audience. The movie is set to release exclusively in theatres.
