Moon River Episode 11 Review: Beautiful Reunion

In the previous episode, Lee Un and U-hui almost have their happily ever after before the Left Councillor comes and ruins it. Before the next plans could go on, Dal-i’s life once again is put at stake when the King realises she is the Crown Princess whose death they supposedly faked.

Moon River Episode 11 runs about 60 minutes.

This new Korean drama consists of 14 episodes, with one episode released every Friday and Saturday. The series takes over MBC’s drama To The Moon.

Moon River episode 11 opens with an emotional thunderclap as Dal-i finally remembers the truth she has long forgotten. She is Crown Princess Yeon-wol, the woman whose life was destroyed after the Queen’s sudden death was pinned on her. Horrified by the weight of her past, she demands answers from Hong-nan, who calmly reveals the brutal reality.

If Yeon-wol had lived as herself, she would have been killed long ago. Her loss of identity was not betrayal but protection. Still, Dal-i cannot accept the idea of staying hidden when her heart pulls her back to the palace. Despite Hong-nan’s desperate attempts to stop her, Dal-i’s adoptive parents step in and help her escape.

Determined and heartbroken, Dal-i returns to the palace with a single resolution. Even if fate demands her death again, she will not leave Lee Gang’s side. She warms the Queen Dowager’s heart with genuine care and earns permission to meet U-hui. Through their conversation, she uncovers key information about the Faceless assassins and their shadowy dealings.

Elsewhere, Lee Gang overhears a conversation between the King and Hong-nan that shatters his assumptions. Dal-i is Yeon-wol. She is not just a familiar face or a comforting echo. She is the woman he has mourned all this time. Realising that she remembers everything, he panics and rushes to find her.
