A week has passed since the final showdown, and reconstruction efforts are now in full swing. Support has poured in from across the globe as nations work alongside Japan’s heroes to repair the massive damage. Amid all this, Bakugo receives a harsh update: his injured hand may never return to its former strength. He’s offered the option of a prosthetic, much like Mirko’s, but he turns it down, choosing instead to face a long path of physical rehabilitation.

Deku eventually wakes, burdened by the thought that he couldn’t fully save Tenko. Even so, he takes some comfort in knowing he reached the boy on an emotional level. The blow hits harder when Bakugo learns that Deku has lost his powers entirely; the news crushes him, and he breaks down. All Might steps in to steady both of them with the kind of reassurance only he can give.

Soon after, UA holds its graduation ceremony for the third year. The atmosphere leans more celebratory than somber, yet Mirio’s heartfelt speech still leaves the entire hall teary-eyed.

The moment that leaves the deepest mark, though, is the final gathering of the Todoroki family, a scene that manages to be heartbreaking, tender, and quietly hopeful all at once.

This episode begins with La Brava reuniting with Gentle and both being very happy. At the same time, we see Lady Nagant talking with Hawks. Hawks asks her when she plans to come out, and she just tells him that she’s scared of the outside world and would wait before she gets released. The situation is still not completely fine, as basic aid is taking time to reach everyone. But the process is going on slowly but surely.

On the other hand, Deku goes to see Spinner, and there, Spinner realizes that he’s the only one who has survived the battle. He becomes so agitated with this news that he doubles in size and almost attacks Deku. He also breaks down crying that Shigaraki was his hero and the very first friend. Spinner then claims that he will write a book so that Shigaraki’s past and the existence of the Villain League do not fade away. Deku just expresses that he hopes it will be a comic and leaves.

We also see UA students getting a lot of attention for their bravery, and Deku and others becoming famous with the juniors. The students also use their powers to help restore the city. But more than these things, the episode is also about Uraraka, who had been trying her best to keep a smile on her face. The battle that killed Toga deeply affected her, and she tried to keep that thought out of her head. However, once everything settles, she breaks and prepares to cry her heart out. But that is exactly when Deku comes to meet her.

This segment was very emotional, and it showed the psychological turmoil within the characters. Though everything has gone better, it is no wonder that the people who fought the villains are themselves impacted by what they went through.

Verdict

I absolutely love this episode, but at the same time, I am very sad that things are concluding. I can’t fathom how quickly all these years passed, and now there is only one more episode left before this entire series comes to an end.
