The series is based on the life of an awkward high-schooler who just might be the strongest psychic in this world. As strong as he is with his psychic abilities, there are many things in his life that he is unable to control, the most important of them being his awkwardness and unpopularity in his school. Along with his boss and his mentor, prolific bullshitter Reigen Arataka, he learns how to fight his battles or even when to run away when in danger.
Season 3 of the highly popular series follows Mob, Reigen, and Serizawa continuing to run Reigen’s business of hunting down spirits while dealing with issues of their own. Mob is on a mission to figure out what to do with his life and future, while Serizawa wishes to get a standardized school education that he never received. Reigen is, well, Reigen is Reigen, with everything that entails.

Mob Psycho 100 is a series that has a fondness for the monster-of-the-week kind of story despite maintaining a tight overarching narrative. The first episode of the latest season is expected to be no different and is expected to start exactly as the previous two did- with Reigen and Mob taking down a spirit. Only this time, they are living in a city which features a giant broccoli as an attraction, thanks to the climactic battle of the second season.

Season 2 of the show saw Mob work on his people skills with Reigen’s help, so much so that he even participated in the School President election.
