With the drop of the new Love and Wish teaser, audiences can’t stop talking about this modern romance that is not very typical of the K-dramas that usually arrive on the screens. The teaser was promising enough to capture all the instances of friendship and love between high schoolers, almost reminiscent of the Turkish teen drama Love 101. The upcoming Kdrama is for KakaoTV and stars some known faces.
We have the member and vocalist of the South Korean boy band GOT7, Youngjae opposite The Penthouse: War in Life actress Choi Ye-bin, who serve as the protagonists of this story. In the teaser, we are introduced to both the characters who played the actors and how leads to what.
There’s Son Da Eun (played by Choi Ye-bin), who enters high school with the desire to find a fateful love and trails behind Kim Seung Hyu (played by Youngjae) in expectation, even though she is not welcomed by him. Irrespective of constant coaxing, Seung Hyu does not accept Da Eun’s advances as he is riddled with his own inhibitions. Meanwhile, enters Na Yoo Il (played by Yoo Jae Sang) who stops Da Eun from her attempts.
As the story progresses, high school violence, love and the unsettling life of these 19-year-olds are held in front of us against an unusual backdrop. With harsh realities kicking them time and again, the series really is dedicated to standing out as a drama.

This is the first time for both the actors to star in a romance drama and audiences are really excited to see them. This web drama is set to premiere on December 24, 2021, at 10 AM KST (6:30 AM IST) on KakaoTV.
