After announcing their break, seems like our BTS boys have been doing quite well for themselves as they continue to explore their solo careers. After Jimin and Jungkook, it is time for J-Hope to receive all the love he deserves with the release of his latest album.
Titled Jack in the Box, this Bangtan boy has always shown his light and playful side on the screen. The new album, however, is set to bring out the multidimensional side of the artist that hides underneath his sweet eyes and charm. Released on July 15, 2022, the album consists of ten tracks in total whose names were released a week ahead of the album’s release. Marking the solo debut for the artist, the album is a concept album grounded in the Greek myth of Pandora’s Box.
Releasing all of the album’s tracks on Spotify, the singer inaugurated the big success by releasing the music video for the tenth track called Arson. The song captures our singer’s story of being at crossroads as he faces the world every day. It reflects themes of existential crisis and the ultimate jump to pull through it.

Throughout the music video, we see J-Hope walk amidst burned debris as he sings about running behind popularity, money, and fame and coming to a point in his life where he has to choose if he wants to burn out or burn brighter than ever. The hip-hop beats fall in right the tone of wanting to escape the box and lighting the flame.
The video is produced by Boring Studio and helmed by director Lee Suho. Lee Seokjun serves as the executive producer along with Jeon Sehoon serves as the assistant director. Lee Jinhyuk is the Director of Photography with NOMESS as the art director and DRAGON choreographing the special effects.
