The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 teaser is out now and it looks like one helluva of a ride we are all going to be strapped to. The dystopian fiction has gained a massive fan following and cult-like status over the years, especially due to its unique storyline that smashes patriarchy and empowers women.

The latest trailer for The Handmaid’s Tale reveals how after Waterford’s death, Serena is seemingly determined to hunt June down and destroy her life. The teaser description for the upcoming season reads: “In Season 5, June faces consequences for killing Commander Waterford while struggling to redefine her identity and purpose.
The widowed Serena attempts to raise her profile in Toronto as Gilead’s influence creeps into Canada. Commander Lawrence works with Aunt Lydia as he tries to reform Gilead and rise in power. June, Luke, and Moira fight Gilead from a distance as they continue their mission to save and reunite with Hannah.”
