Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Episode 4 Recap
This episode begins with Jelal confronting Touka, accusing her of being the white mage. Touka adamantly denies this, insisting that Jelal is mistaken and that she’s just someone who knows water magic. However, when Jelal presses her about the source of her water magic, she is unable to provide an answer. As Jelal is about to take her away, Laxus intervenes, rescuing her. Despite Jelal’s warnings that Touka might be dangerous, Laxus stands firm, declaring that regardless of her true nature, she is now part of their family and will be protected.
Meanwhile, Natsu, Wendy, and Erza are held captive aboard Diabolo’s ship. On another front, Lucy, Happy, and Carla are frantically searching for their friends. Lucy uses a boat to locate the ship, and during their search, they unexpectedly encounter Brandish, who hands a shrunken Gray over to Lucy.
Through Brandish, we learn about the current fates of the members of the long-disbanded Spriggan 12. Many have moved on to different lives, with some already deceased. Fortunately, Brandish no longer sees Fairy Tail as enemies and acknowledges the mutual losses both sides have endured. She also shares her goal of finding Aquarius’s key, revealing its location on Guiltina.
As night falls, Erza manages to break free from her brainwashing and, along with Natsu and Wendy, confronts their captors. However, the situation remains tense as Jelal gets attacked by Touka. She has two souls or personalities inside her and this makes her a villain even when the actual Touka is innocent.
